::Emilie heard the doorbell and ran to the front door::
::Emilie jumped on Colin and gave him a bear hug::
::He laughed as Emily jumped at him and hugged her back::
::he replied loudly::
"Did you bring me my peach darling british companion?"
"Of course I did,...err...hunnybunny Brit babe?"
::he grinned at her and handed her a bag of peaches he had gotten from the nearby supermarket::
::He laughed lightly::
"Awww...thanks, I heartchoo too Ems."
::Jane stopped on the corner and reorganize her bags again. She had walked all the way from North Plaza with the 6 Gap bags. Normally, it was a 15 minute walk, but the bags were slowing her down. She tripped and fell on her face as she passed on of the houses, sending skirts and tops flying everywhere. She sighed and started gathering the stuff::
A fitting ending to the day...
::Colin noticed a fairly familiar girl walk by when she suddenly tripped, the entire contents of her bags being sprawled out on the pavement. Emily looked at Emily and then over to the girl again::
"Ickity...I'll go help."
::he smiled at Emily and walked over to the girl::
"Hey...need a hand...Jane, right?"
I hate needing help
"Yeah, i'd appreciate it. Last day of the summer sale, with the employee discount I couldn't help myself. Jane, that's me. And you're...Colin?"
"Yesh...that's me. Colin."
::he smiled as he picked up some random pieces of clothing::
"Wow...you must really like clothes."
::he said softly, as her handed her some of the garments he picked up::
::she tossed them into one of the bags carelessly::
"Sale plus discount. I spent most of my paycheck. I hate spending my Dad's money on clothes."
I hate spending his money on anything. Bastard.
::He nodded and smiled at her::
::he kneeled down next to her, still picking up clothes::
::he thought to himself and smiled at her::
::she nodded and finished stuffing the clothes into the bag::
"Great, now I have a full night of laundry, and tomorrow I get to iron."
::she sighed and stood up::
"Thanks for the help."
Now i'm stuck home tomorrow. Damn it.
::he stood up asweel now::
"If you need any help or anything...I'm usually sitting alone at home, being bored."
::he grinned at her::
"But I should warn you. The last time I tried to iron something I managed to burn a hole in it."
"Better than me, I burned myself."
::she held up her arm, there was decently-sized scar on it::
"Woah...looks painfull, why the hell would you do that?"
::He laughed softly::
"But I hope it's better now..."
"It wasn't intentional! I was pouring water into the iron, I moved my arm the wrong way, and..."
"You can see how it ended."
::He smiled back at her::
"I thought you didn't mean to do intentional!"
::he shook his head, laughing lightly again::
"Okay...to sum it up: Both of us should not go near any irons."
"But one of us has to. My mother is worse."
she used to be ok, before she started doing everything half-drunk
::He nodded and smiled at her::
"Yeah, I get what you mean. My mum is a total clums herself."
But I'm still worse.
"So, where are you from? Not North Haven, not with an accent like that.."
::she smiled at him::
he's sorta cute...
::He grinned at her and shook his head::
"I live just around the corner, but you're right...I'm actually from England. What about you? Did you grow up here or did you just move here too?"
"England, OK. That's what I thought. I grew up here. My mom's family has lived in Haven Hills since she was a kid. My dad moved back to the city about a year ago."
::, was all he came up with::
"So...living all your life here...that sounds like fun."
::he said jokingly and smiled at her again::
"It's been interesting, that's for sure. There are times when I wished I lived somewhere else, but in the end, it's OK here. I don't know many people though, I keep to myself."
